WOHA manages numerous hearing conservation programs using mobile and fixed-site testing for the private and public sectors. Through the use of its Audiometric Data Analysis and Management software application, WOHA can customize a client’s hearing conservation program to meet its needs and specifications.
WOHA has several full-time CAOHC-certified Occupational Hearing Conservationists on staff. In addition, we have extensive experience with adjudication audiology. Our professionals have provided expert services, including testimony, in numerous cases involving hearing loss claims. We are also qualified to handle hearing loss cases in both the State Worker’s Compensation setting as well as under the Federal Employee Labor Act.
Hearing Conservation Courses
Hundreds of occupational health and safety personnel from the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas have trained through WOHA for certification and re-certification as Occupational Hearing Conservationists. Courses are designed to certify health and safety personnel to test hearing and establish hearing conservation programs in compliance with OSHA requirements.
WOHA hosts its biannual full certification course here at our headquarters in Washington, D.C. Ms. Diane Brewer, Associate Professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at the George Washington University, serves as the CAOHC Course Director for the course.
