Scuba DivingDive physicals determine the medical readiness of a diver to function safely in a variety of diving and compressed air environments. Each physical examination is performed by a board-certified physician who has extensive knowledge of the special requirements associated with diving. The examination typically includes a medical history, physical examination of ears, nose, and throat with emphasis on pulmonary and cardiovascular systems, chest x-ray, spirometry, EKG and audiogram.
